Default Material for radiator cushions.

I put a new aluminum radiator in my 72 and the tanks are square and the brackets don't fit with the cushions. I modified the brackets and need something for the cushions. Any ideas.

You could go to a hardware store and look at weather striping it comes in different sizes and thickness and is one side glued.

Default I used flexible pcv from Lowe's

When I installed a summit rad in my 1968 I used some of this fabricate the upper pressure mount. It's flexible and you can easily cut it to shape.
And you can go eyeball it at your local hardware store...see if you think it will work for you.

If it's just temporary, you could slice a piece of large diameter fuel line in half lengthwise and use that. Personally, I'd contact the radiator manufacturer and see if they supply them, or can at least recommend something that fits correctly.
