Default Wheel Spinners

I'm on the fence I kind of like the look of the spinners and cones on aluminum rims. I wondered what the rest of you think. I have also taken it to all corvette shows will it effect the originality enough to lose points? I just don't want to have a Bubba look.

Hi hrn,
If you like the look why not?
Whether they would affect the judging of your car at an "all Corvette show" ?… I guess it depends what the judging criteria are.
Not really a "bubba" type add-on.
Regards,
Alan

To me the term you guys use bubba means hack job unless you use bailing wire & duct tape to hold on the spinners they are not hack job,
they are a super nice trim touch to some wheels, i have seen the factory corvette slot wheel a great looking wheel really pop with the addition of lug hiding cones and spinners,
Lots of people will tell you how you must build your car but the only one that counts is you...dont settle, build your car to please yourself.

I must admit that I like them. Here is my 1967 back in 2006 or so.

Anybody have pictures of spinners on some Vectors ?

Had spinners on a 56 ragtop, look ok then. There are different sizes so one just has to be selective.

I got a set of the spinner caps that go on like the derby style. I love them... they`re different than what you normally see. AND.... I can put the derbys back on to change the look in just a couple minutes.

Talking about the spin on wheel look. I don't think spinning wheels look good on Escalades, well maybe not them either. Thanks for your input

Looks good. I like that you can change them back and forth easily. I wonder what they would look like on my '72

"Spinner" center cap features are 'passe' items....except on knock-off wheels (they are a requirement there). If you put them on your car, "old" people [like me] will think that look fine. Others will think they look 'dated'.

Do what you feel is best.

A lot of people think c3s look passe and dated...they are classics with their hey day in the 70s 80s....not unlike spinner caps....but in fact isnt any spinner just to look like a knock off hence fake?
I still like them on some wheels.

I guess our personal tastes change over time. Here's my '74 back in the early 1980's.
