1981 ac/heater problem!!
hi there! i recently bought a 1981 corvette, with a completely working ac and heating unit that worked flawlessly. yesterday, i went out for a drive on let the ac stay on for about 5 minutes full blast. the next day, i try using it again and nothing. nothing with heat or ac coming out of any of the vents. when i switch the dial to (max ac) or (norm) it will make a sort of (air compression sound) in the unit, but no air comes out 
im not very knowledgable and am afraid that i will get totally ripped off bringing it in to be checked. i changed the fuse and nothing. so any help at all would be very appreciated.

If you only have the lower speeds I'd check the high blower relay or the connector on either 52 or 2 in the diagram below. You could just turn the blower to high and go out to the firewall and wiggle the connector and see if it comes on. If it doesn't come on then pull the plug and check for power on the orange wire.
