Default Driver's window
The driver's side window on my '79 was jammed. I manage to get to move but it won't move freely. The only way I can get it to go all the way up is to pull on it while I hold the switch.

Does the window go down much faster than it goes up? If so the assist spring is broken.

Motor could be tired and not have the oomph to lift the glass anymore. Motor or regulator gear, may be worn, and not making good contact. You're going to have to pull the door panel, and get into the door, to see what's happening.
