I think it's a 76 that someone put a 79 VIN tag on. I see nothing that says it's a 79, the back half is 75-77 the interior is nowhere near a 79. I'd bet the frame VIN dosen't match the dash VIN. But I could be wrong it just seems like a lot of work done to make a 79 look like the earlier cars, just one mans opinion.

"Wicked" is not the word I would use to describe that thing. It looks like the Batmobile had a 'fling' with a Camaro -- and that was the result.

I would guess 77, not 76. It looks like the 76 wheel, but the 77 had the old style tach, speedo and glovebox with the newer 'aviator style' gauges in the center console. That would give it the sail back.

Definitely not a 79 though
