A few year back I bough a replacement pump at Advanced Auto for my 70. I reused my original pump housing and just bough the actual pump. It has always leaked a lttle not sure from were. Now I am getting tired of PS steering on my floor. I am debated changing the Orings on the case or just buying another pump. I saw Ecklers has pumps for about $85 and did not see anyplace where they said they have a core charge. The pump I have is working fine except for leaking
From: PHOENIX, AZ Yes, it's true. You are a good woman. Then again, you may be the Antichrist.
Rebuild kits are cheap. I'd replace the o-rings before I bought a new pump. I did mine last year without too much trouble. But, if you'd rather pay for convenience, spring for the new pump.

First determine where this leak is from
1 pully bearing
2 pump to housing seal
3 hose connection to relief value
I went through 4 pumps with leaks in # 1 & 2
If it's the pully bearing replace the unit
If it's the pump to housing seal this is a o-ring seal. Replacing this seal only works if the housing is nice in shape and. Surface is in good shape. No dents or irregular shape, I used some " right stuff" sealant along with a new o-ring to finally fix the leak.
I did try complete units but they also leaked at the housing seal after 1000km
