Kind of a cool old custom. Doubt it will get the money the seller is seeking. Definitely not the configuration that won Autorama in 1974 considering the 80s style front bumper.

Thanks for sharing,
Hum, the paint hurts my head but i like silver,
The weird angle rear l88 flares have been around, but i do not believe ecklers had released the can am panels in 74, and no, the 80 nose wasnt around then,
Perhaps it was an early custom that got a make over in the 80s,

If a person is going to ask 23k for what i so far see as 12-15k worth of custom include far more details and pictures, not one engine pic and the interior shot hurts more than helps,
I dont like the side mirror caps and when you go radical dont leave the hood stock,

I like the idea here a lot can am front flared rear, but wtf is the worm squiggly things on the cove panels, not my cup o tea at all...

This could be a very sweet restro mod racer tribute type idea with a little more tweaking

I`d lose the squiggly thing on the sail panels, ditch those mirrors, add a hood scoop..... and I would`ve tilted the gills at an angle to match the front lower edge of the door....

Look closer they are molded on, now I think this car has done its job, we are talking about it!

Everyone loves a custom, you can't help it we have been to too many car shows growing up.

Yup... I think they`re molded in... because the light reflects from different sides in each picture....If it were painted on, the light & shadow would always be on the same side.

I like the look of the rear flares, but the front wheel arch looks too big for the wheel to me.
Like the mirrored tops with the silver paint, and I like the rear spoiler.

Needs round L88 style headlights...sidepipes...and some body changes, as has been mentioned. Re-do the interior, minus the fuzzy stuff.

So, $23K purchase price, plus $23K in work and parts!

There would be a lot less to critique without those ridiculous mirrors and roof pillar what ever heck that is.

Not my style, but it looks like the work was well done.

But to each their own.

The more i look at it the more i really like it,

To laptop build for sec,

I would loose the super 80 rear bumper never liked them,

Install an l88 hood, and loose the odd mirror caps and cove squiggles,

Paint it in some racer theme like perhaps a greenwood widebody and have a blast with it,
