Does anyone know what the db would be on a 1976 350 11.1 compression with headers and chambered exhaust ?

Go to an electronics repair center or ask a tech if you know one. They will have a db meter (monitor and could tell you

I've heard of smartphone apps that have a db meter. It could be a simple download. You could also check CandD, R&T, etc. archives in 1976 for road test db readings for that setup.

That depends on several factors-

The distance is the main factor- then there is the RPM at which it's measured and even the angle or centerline . Also used is the speed the vehicle is traveling or stationary and whether or not the site is soft ( out in the open ) or hard (between buildings).

So- what's the parameters? I'd check the local code.

OR- I have heard- drive around in Canada and they will measure it for you- for the price of a ticket!!!
