A previous owner installed a leather steering wheel that I'm thinking of replacing. I'd like to go back to stock. Based on the picture below, should this be a simple swap?
That's good to hear. In my search for a stock steering wheel, I've seen a "comfort grip" wheel that looks stock but appears to be wrapped in leather with a tiny amount of padding or made of a softer material. Is the comfort grip wheel any more comfortable than the vinyl wheel?

just take pics of the internals in the order you pull them apart. the small pieces can go in wrong or get confusing as to the order and you want your horn to work correctly
Other than forgetting to disconnect the battery at first and having the blaring horn **** off my better half, swapping the steering wheel back to stock went smooth.
I have a question about the metal trim that goes around the outside of the wheel on the OEM replicas. Is there supposed to be a slight lip that I can feel where the vinyl meets the metal trim? The transition where the back of the steering wheel meets the metal trim seems pretty flush, but not so much for where the front meets the trim.
