Can anyone help me figure out who the original manufacturer was ? I don't remember anyone making a blue / turquoise bar. I've searched everywhere I know with no luck. I can find straight dual bars or with both pinched in the middle, but not like this and certainly not blue. The O.O. is rumored to have hung out at both the Harrell and Ronnie Runyan speed shops in Kansas City. Could it be something home brewed in KC ?

Having long been a student of the C2/C3 IRS, installing a 3-point solid diff x-member locating kit is a far more elegant solution. The 3rd point, BTW, is at the pinion. JMHO
That traction bar I believe is no longer made, very old school, but they were produced and sold through venders. You see them on Craigs list or E-bay once in awhile. T
I put one on my car 19 years ago. I had wheel hop when I left the line hard and a guy said I have something that will help. he had it lying around so I said ill try it. I do not know who made it and neither did he. he said he picked it up at a swap meet. looks like yours. here is a pic but hard to see it. my car is a C2.
I'm going to say it helps. This has an L-88 in it and I don't baby it. The rear end stays where it should and does it's part to hook. The poor tires are another story. They don't have a chance.
There is a website that I frequent, that is mainly that has a lot of baldwin Motion members. I bought my traction bar from one of the members there. There was one that I saw on a Baldwin Motion phase 3 vette that I wanted
A member there had one like it that I bought and one day when I have my corvette ready, I will install.
I have read they do help.
Whether I will have enough power in my corvette for it to help, I will install it just for the old school cool factor.
