Default Which corvette?

Senior thinking to buy a Corvette, wondering if a convertible , and 4 speed ( 5 or 6) manual is the way to go.I have no prior vette experience, and modest budget to work with (maybe 10,000)
Any advice from knowledgeable owners much appreciated!

1975 was the last year for a convertible.

Not sure 10K us enough for a quality Corvette 4/speed Vert.

your looking at 77-79 range. They are in the 7-10K range. However, you should count on spending 1-2K fixing little things here and there that will pop up.

Checkout Corvette Magazine online. They run an article every month about Corvettes at various price points.

You haven't indicated what your "Mr FixIt" skills are. You'll need them as well as some budget for repairs! At $10K whatever you buy will build character. I'm a senior, I know this to be true.

Also, see the sticky above about buying a Corvette.
