Power Bleeder question
I have now just made a plate of 1/4 steel with a thin rubber sheet for a gasket. Drilled and tapped for a air line fitting and I use a big C clamp to get a good seal. I let it bleed for about 20 seconds before I go back and fill the MC. Works every time with little or no mess. I tossed the Motive bleeder. I use about 15 pounds of air pressure.
like this. Never fails me.I used a cork gasket material between the MC and my simple angle iron. Added a air line fitting for the front and rear brake reservoir, once clamped down connect my air compressor, set to 10 PSI and bleed away. To remove release the air pressure at the compressor, remove the air hose and fill the reservoir again.
It was cheap and I got it at the local hardware store. I used an aluminum plate, rubber gasket made out of old inner tube, with the typical valves, and a c-clamp to hold it on. It's worked great for years and I've used it on multiple vehicles. Just add brake fluid to the weed sprayer vessel, hook up tygon tubing, pressurize to about 10 psig.... bleed away.
Not only that but I can actually release the pressure before disconnecting the hoses to the pressure plate. Here's an old picture.
