I took the comment to "drive it like you stole it" as a humorous way of encouraging someone to drive their garage queens, not as a serious encouragement of car theft.

Take a look at un-restored, but well kept-up '73-'74 LS4s... If you are not looking to enter the drags, they have plenty of power. They had more comfort options built into the suspensions and bodies so better driving cars. Most have A/C (which is a requirement for big block cars, unless you want an interior like an oven).. prices are still reasonable for un-restored but well kept up examples (especially '74s, in my opinion the best value of all.) They run on unleaded fuel, have standard radial tires, shoulder belts, etc.

I was just trying to say in a fun lighthearted way people should do what makes them happy with their car.

I'm in the aviation world where we use the expression "fly it like you stole it"...it means to fly it as fast as it will go. :-)
