Cananyone descibe for me the best way to test the wiper arm vacuum switch under right side wiper arm, there are a few videos out there that show different ways- hold vaccum on white port and hold vacuum on red port(middle). Thank you for all replies in advance,Tim
There is only one way to properly test the wiper arm safety switch. Itis shown in this video. ALL other methods and videos that test the lower or white vacuum port are wrong.

I have bought two both with the white push button, one off of E-bay and another from Pacifica corvettes neither work, my door still stays open I have ran all vac tests hoses etc. and all points to the WDSV switch, was told to only get the original one with the black button, Wilcox was out of them a couple of weeks ago, so In the mean time I just disconnected the big vac hose to the door canister so the door will stay down until I find the one I need. It sucks good luck

You can simply bypass the wiper door safety valve to keep the wiper door closed. Simply pull off the hoses leading to the red (middle) and white (lower) vacuum ports and connect them together. This completes the vacuum signal to the wiper door relay to keep the door closed. This is also assuming the remainder of the components are in good order. If you have to use the wipers, activate the override switch first, then wiper switch.
