Default 77 t-top headliners

I have a 77 with cracked and somewhat warped headliners in my T-tops. I've noticed that my headliners are replacements since they have different date codes on the back side. So I'm not worried about originality.

Short of buying a new set of headliners, what have you done with the underside of your T-tops?

Could it be just the velcro pieces are not grabbing and holding it up straight? Mine is warped also but the Velcro is shot. When I redo the weatherstripping I was going to order a new set of velcro snaps.

That could be part of the problem. But I still have one that has several cracks. I wondered what people may have done to the underside of the t-tops after doing away with their liners.

Hey, wondering how you went about restoring your headliners?
I’m at the same stage and didn’t want to just do a factory like replacement.

Well, I got an opportunity to take the easy way out. One of our forum members advertised a good pair of 77 headliners for sale and I bought them.
