Hey folks. I can finally say that I'm officially part of the club! Wooo!
I couple of days ago I purchased a 77. Currently, I am in the process of going over the mechanical side of things with an eye for a new radio...but the radio isnt actually my issue. - Its "Where can I put a small subwoofer without hampering the ability of storing my tops when necessary."

Store your tops on the luggage rack and you'll have a lot more useable space back there. I built a sub woofer box for a 10" woofer and it fits perfect. The box is roughly a 1 foot cube. Still plenty of space back there. I mounted a class D amp out of sight in the tray above the jack.
Sometimes the obvious just needs to be said... thanks folks. Even though I have a rack, I didnt even think about putting them there. Thanks for the thought.
I have a rack on my 74, but I never store my t-tops there. I also built in an 8" Infinity sub into my jack compartment.
I have drawings/pictures of the box I built. Check out my profile and look at the Car Stereo album.
I also mounted 1200 watts of amps on a fake back wall to drive all of my 9 speakers.
And yes, I can hear the music with the t-roof off.
