I've been posting a bit here and there while I've looked for my C3. I finally found one that I wanted for the right price. It was delivered a few days ago. I know pics are required, so I have a quick walk around video.
Good choice, Black interior is sharp. What options are on your new 'vette?
We all like to have a current idea of what our cars are worth, can you please tell us what you paid? Thank you.
Hi H,
WELL!!!!! Good for you!
It looks like a nice car….lots to like a 69, 350/350, CONVERTIBLE.
I hope it turns out to be a good car and gives you a lot of pleasure!!!
Good Luck!
Thanks guys. I am excited! It's a numbers matching engine and a 4 speed. I've been reading my NCRS manual and it appears to have a lot of originality in it. I plan to freshen things up while keeping it pretty stock looking. I don't intend to go the NCRS or show route, but want to know what original should be so I can keep them in mind when doing some restoration. Overall it's in pretty good shape and a lot of fun to drive. I'm in Texas so I do plan to install a Vintage Air system, so I can keep enjoying it during the summer.
I'm a car novice, but pretty handy in other areas. I hope to learn a lot and do as much myself as I can. I also want my kids to learn along with me. My brother is a seasoned mechanic and this forum has been hugely helpful. The community here is great and I appreciate all of you that have taken the time to reply to my posts.
Congrats. Very nice looking '69. Any idea if any mods done to the motor? If not stock, any idea of the compression ratio and cam. I'm planning some engine mods down the road and that's kinda the cam sound I'm after. Thanks.
