Hyperco 330 lb spring shown in the top pic. Has 8" bolts maxed out on adjustment. Purchased as part of Eckler' Advanced Street and Slalom suspension kit. Purchased years ago, so it's too late to return. I've put less than ten miles on the car, but after an alignment and a full tank of fuel, I knew it would not settle enough. I did buy some 10" bolts which may have helped, but didn't have enough clearance to install them due to the 5" backspacing on my wheels
Bottom pic is a VBP 360 lb spring. This is without rolling the car to settle the suspension. May settle a little lower.

Reason: Stupid Autocorrect...
No, didn't take any pictures during the installation. The amount of arch was drastic. The Hyperco was so arched it put the link bolts in a bind. I took off the nut and nothing happened. Had to hit the bolt with a rubber hammer to get the spring to pop loose. Once it did it hung maybe 2-4 inches below the bolt. With the VBP, the bolts hung down maybe 2 inches below the bottom of the spring. No compression was needed to install the spring. In both cases the vehicle was on jackstands with the rear suspension at full droop.
Wheels are American Racing "Daytona". 17x8 front,18x9 rear. Wish I had gotten 18's all around.
Everyone seems to like them, but it seems like nobody bought them. They are no longer made, and may have even been discontinued when I bought them 5 years ago. They were only around 700 for the set.
I don't know what the problem is with these Hyperco springs, but its always the same deal....putting the car way too high. I cannot understand why the company supplying these things doesn't fix the problem.

TRW springs are just as bad. Makes the Vette a 4x4. Unfortunately VBP is the only way to go.
