Default our 69 T-Top

36 years later finally got our 69 T-Top 390/427 back on the road for a short drive to test every thing out, It was different and sort of scary at the same time since it had been so long and I'm used to driving our conv. It turned out to be beautiful car, Imron Kandy Brandy wine, factory new side pipes which I had bought from GM back in the 80s still in boxes in the attic and 30 spoke Star Wires, finally turned out like I had imagined, even cold AC which I changed over to 134 did away with the POA valve etc. I'm just excited and had to let Vette lovers know its never to late to get our projects finished, and thanks to NCM ins. Its legal

Hi F,
It's amazing how nice Corvettes don't lose ANY of their attraction as the years go by…. in fact, for many owners the attraction (and pleasure!) increases!!!
Sure would be nice to see a couple of photos.
Regards,
Alan

Hi F,
Well!
I can SEE why you're so excited!
That's a great looking 69. I, of course, like those side exhaust! NOS, no less!!!
I hope you have lots of fun with it.
Regards,
Alan

Very nice looking ride.

Just curious, why 36 years to complete?

Owned and operated an automotive repair business for 35 years and the last thing I wanted to do was work on my projects after work, donated off time to family etc. and had so many other things going I just ran out of time so now since retiring I'm enjoying finishing all of my old cars on my bucket list and this 69 is my 1st one completed, thanks for asking.
I'm now working on my 67 coupe.
