You are missing volumes of descriptive information and is virtually impossible to answer your question.
If you really want an answer you must begin with at least a dozen or more photos. Exterior 360 degrees, Interior - carpet seats, dash, doors; under hood right and left with air cleaner housing removed; suspension parts frame rails and under motor/trans. Take any pictures in close- of areas of possible trouble.
Complete descriptive information about the car and options, records? Receipts? Miles? Driveable? Region located, damages if any? Modifications not photographed. Paint condition is nearly impossible to photograph well enough to be reliable or accurate for grading. Make specific notation about any seller's disclosure to you and anything that maybe questionable.

Information much less then noted above will just lead to very inaccurate feedback.

Rich

Rust? If local, then rust is a likely issue. Will motor turn over? Sounds like a hot mess. I can't give a price until the rust issue is evaluated. Engine can make or break this one. If it's an original LS6 motor then it's worth restoring. If it originally had an LS6, then it might be worth restoring. If it's the original base big block, it might be worth restoring. If the base BBC is missing, then it probably isn't worth putting a lot of money in it.

Post some pictures.

Sounds like a project car. Are you thinking of buying or selling? Pics would help.

I'd say somewhere between $50 and $50,000.

My apologies I forgot the what the knowledge base is of the people I was addressing, most certainly not an original LS6, left the factory as a sunflower yellow LS5, a LS6 crate transplant on a later date, my original intent was to install a Edelbrock top end kit that would give me a nice driver, rust is most certainly not an issue, very minor surface patches consistent with a dry climate out of the weather. I have documents from Colorado when title was transferred to Illinois, an inspection report from Centennial Motors Co, Boulder Colorado, 11-4-89, rear wheel bearings feel tight no excessive play. will post pics when I get them

Hi J,
Based on the information (?) in the 2 posts, perhaps in the $4000 to $5000 range.
Regards,
Alan

Since the car spent time in Illinois rust could be an issue and that could decrease the value.
