Default Idler Arm quality question

1969 Coupe

Idler Arm question: I replaced all the front and rear end parts mostly from CC package (Idler Arm CC), replaced tires and had it aligned 3 years ago. Now the Idler Arm is all ready bad/loose/worn. This is a good weather weekend driver not a lot of miles on that part… disappointing. (made in???) I need to replace it. Prices out there seem to range approximately from $40.00 to $140.00. I am considering buying from Napa, in the past there product where considered good. Any recommendations?

Rick

a Moog arm from any source that gives the best price. Does the old arm have a grease fitting?

Moog "Problem Solver" line is usually a good choice.

Make sure you keep the thing lubed. There's a grease fitting on it. Fill it when you install it, they are often not very lubed when you get them. Keep it lubed, check that it's still full at every oil change.

Default Moog

I too bought the CC kit 5 years before my Frame off project. During the build I bit the bullet and did a Complete rebuild to Moog. Even the U-Joint got the Moog treatment.
