Default Stuck doors

I can't get the doors open and I'd like a little advice. (pictures or video would be nice)
I put the project away last Autumn when it got too cold to pick up tools, now, after getting some of my wife's projects out of the way, I'm starting on the project again.
I removed the doors a while back, and put them back on last Autumn, but I didn't get them aligned and that's what I'm trying to do now. All of the door inner parts have been removed, but I left the latches in place to help with the positioning of the doors. I had no problem opening the doors last year, but I can't remember what I did.
Any advice?
I searched the forum and can't find anything, but I'm sure there must be something on the subject. I must not know enough to use search feature to find this subject.
Please help. (photo and/or video) It's a 74 barn rescue that I've stripped to the frame and I'm trying to put it back together.

What do you mean by left latches in place? You can slide the inside door pulls on and use them. Are outside door pulls (chrome) on and connected to rod? If not you can pull rod from inside or outside to un latch. You might need to lift up on the door account alignment?

All door hardware has been removed and I intend to replace bent and worn pieces. But I left the latch pins on the door frame and I left the latches on the doors. I didn't think much of it since I had no trouble opening the doors last Autumn, I just can't figure it out now.

That would be great if I could. But everything is gone.

I know... that was pretty stupid of me, but I thought I could remember which part goes which way.

I've played with a couple of the pieces in there and can't figure out which one to push, pull or twist.

Does this thread help?

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...door-lock.html

In the very last picture of this thread, the threaded rod is the lever to open the door (your rod is probably gone though). A little above that is the lock/unlock lever (I think).

It took two of us, but we got the doors open.
I removed the latch mechanisms and now I just need to align the doors and I'll clean up the latches and see if they can be used. If not, I'll be buying some new latches.
