Hi PRNDL,
Your right in saying "nothing has changed".
However, there has been a concerted effort by a sizable group of 68-72 NCRS members during the last 5+ years to increase the amount of, and to refine the detail of, the information available in the manuals and also to document typical configurations and installations with the use of color photographs.
That was applied to the 70-72 Manual first since it had been without an update the longest.
Many folks felt that the 70-72 Manual changed the status quo for the Manuals and therefore that the 68-69 Manual should receive the same type of update.
I hope you decide to buy one.
Regards,
Alan
Here are 2 photos that I think illustrate what the 70-72 Manual has become.
Thanks Alan..will talk later when or if I need some help
Picked up the new 68-9 book today. Also got the 70-2. Wow, what an improvement over the previous issue. And, boy they do get heavy carrying them around Carlisle for a few hours. Well worth the money.
Mine came in the mail yesterday. Really a terrific update to the fourth edition with much new data. All of the color pictures are great too. Well done !
