Default Mid-engine Corvette renderings with heavy C3 influence

Hi folks, I had a little bit of time to burn so I figured I'd churn out a couple of renderings of an idea that has intrigued me for a while now. I would imagine that the C8 Corvette may make the jump to a mid-engine configuration so I thought "What if I took all the design elements that I believe the next gen mid engine Vette would have and apply C3 styling cues to it?"
I kind of like it. As a matter of fact, I believe this styling will be close to the future Vette with the elimination of the front and rear bumpers in favor of modern nose and tail design (with the controversial C7 tail lights) and a variation of the C7 green house to accommodate the new engine layout.
For now, here are the images.

A 1986 Corvette Mid-Engine Concept car at a car show I attended this past weekend. I didn't get a chance to talk to the owner to find out what the story was behind the car.

Really nice work-

I like how you tied the rear bumper into the rear diffuser...And accentuated the ROUND tail lights!!!

Rear quarter looks like it has a little coke bottle shape to it which looks good. Your renderings are light yrs better than whats being made today good job it definitely says Corvette without the cartoonish or out of proportion looks!

I want the lower left rendering with the rear end off the upper right. As long as the details in the materials and the decision on where to chrome and where to not are done right, that would be a very decent start at a C8.
