Hello all,
i am a new member from the Pittsburgh, PA area. I have a 1977 corvette that is is very nice shape but I would like to replace the interior or at least paint the dash panels, kick panels and other trim. Has anyone painted the dash panels and trim? Does it work well and lastnor am I better trying to get new? The current panels are in great shape but they are faded and need attention. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!
Congrats on the 77 and welcome. For interior panels, you want automotive interior dye and not particularly a paint. SEM makes an excellent product. Look for a local SEM dealer.

Joe, welcome aboard. Just be prepared, that once you start a simple thing like dash refurbish, the next thing you know the whole car will be apart...It happens to all of us. Have fun.

For me it was fixing the Parking Brakes...then boom, parts everywhere. Welcome to the addiction!

If the original parts are in great shape.... it is MUCH better to shoot some new dye on them than to replace them. New reproduction interior parts are known for poor fitment.
