Method of supporting trans to frame with engine out?
I am putting my 69 frame back together. I have the suspension on and rear end in, but would like to put in the trans (loosely for now). Is there a way to support the front of the trans from the frame so I can roll everything around on the wheels without the engine in?
Thanks

Hi Glenn,
The transmission isn't all that heavy…. especially when the tail shaft is supported.
I ran some heavy rope from frame rail to frame rail running under the transmission case. I believe, to be sure, I went across 3 times.
I didn't think I'd ever have to admit doing that.
I actually ended up taking the transmission back out when I put the engine in place.
Regards,
Alan
