The car fared far better than I did. As a matter of fact she got a good bath after I got stapled up.

Haven't hit my head on the latch yet, but done cracked it on the edge of the top many times...

I almost never put the tops on mine, only when it's getting a wash. Didn't realize all the fun I was missing.

Adjust that lock-foot outward; it should tighten up the clamp when engaged.
