My headlights will come up, and high beams work... just no low beams. Would both low beams go out at the same time? I wouldn't think so...
Are the high and low on separate fuses? I wouldn't think so, but just asking.
Also, the fuse box - there's nothing that blatantly says headlights... so which fuse runs them?
I know they worked, but the car was at a shop for 16 months not driven... now they don't work. Tail lights and turns work... as well as interior dash & dimmer on the instrument cluster.
Easy to test the headlights on low by using battery. Sounds like perhaps dimmer switch? If you have a meter or test light you could unplug the low beam and using dimmer switch see if you are getting voltage at light socket
I had a similar problem on my 78. The low beams wouldn't come on. If I turned on the high beams the low beams would come on.
I changed the dimmer high beam switch but that wasn't it.
It turned out that the left low beam headlight connector had 1 wire that wouldn't seat on the bulb. Once I pushed that into connector to the bulb BOTH low beams started to work.
