Wrapping up the Dragons body off restoration. Would like to know what product would be best to treat and finish the underbody. Searched the forum, but could not find suggested products to use. I would like to have some contrast between the chassis and underbody when the car is viewed from underneath. Will be using the suggested GM chassis black for the frame. Any suggestions, advice or photos are appreciated.

GM Chassis Black for the frame
Rubberized splash of coating under all 4 fenders. Just a splash and not coat the hell of it,
Black out on the mufflers under neath it and partial on the side of the tire carrier
That is it!!!!!!!!!!
The fiberglass originally had no additional finish applied to it after it came out of the mold.
Many of the areas that remain visible when looking under the car benefit from several coats of semi-flat clear. This tended to even out and darken the appearance of the fiberglass.
Perhaps you might consider giving that a try?

Alan
Here a couple of examples of the results possible.
Thank you. I am learning plenty through the process. It's Alot of work to get to this point, and I would like things to be as accurate as possible. I always assumed that fiberglass is white in raw form. Certainly will make things easier. Clean and clear with a light coat of undercoating in the fender wells.
Hi,
"I always assumed that fiberglass is white in raw form"
It really depends on the year of the car, and the part you're looking at as to what it's color appearance will be.

Alan
This is an original 69 side exhaust rear valance panel.
Some folks refer to it as black… some say it's very dark gray.
