5 port washer pump

On the 5 port pump on my 71 the yellow wire comes in from the left and the blue wire from the right.
I guess this may be a bit different on yours since you mention 'top'.
If you post the year of your car you'll likely get a more definitive answer.

Again, this is a 71 wiper motor and 5 port pump.
