Corvette Carlisle Parade

About 90% of the cars in the parade were C5 - C7 with many of them needing to rev their engines, with a high pitched Crotch Rocket motorcycle sound that was more obnoxious than cool. Conversely, what was very cool to me, was the deep rumble and incredibly more awesome sound of the C3 side pipe cars, both at idle and when revved. Made it very clear to me that all these newer Corvettes may be fast and high tech, but do not meet the definition of what a muscle car means to me. No comparison. I'll keep my 77.
Otherwise there were also a few of the immaculate works of art of the 1958, 1959 and 1960 Corvettes. Nothing since compares to them.
My wife and I were glad we made the effort to go to the parade.
