I'm going thru a body-off restoration so I wanted to run the engine before mating the body back to frame so I could check new fuel sender, fuel pump, power steering pump borgeson connections, temp sender, thermostat, oil pressure gauge, etc...
So I purchased this off Ebay for $13.43
and I wired it up as:
where the blue lead inserts into the female spade purple wire on starter extension harness. Red and black wires clip to battery.
Works great and dirt cheap to allow me to start the engine and check out components at anytime,
