That's common, you need the rubber spacer blocks that glue to the fender lip so the hood can sit on them and hold it to the right height. They are available from most of the vette parts vendors.

That's funny. I put some spacers there just to see if it would fix the problem and it did. I didn't realize that it's a common problem.

The FAM shows two on each side. 7" and 25" from the front, but you can put them anywhere you need to bring the hood up level. Mine only has one on each side at 21".
