Fellas should I add glass to the upper front fenders to meet the height of my hood? The fenders are low between the windshield and the wheel well. This is the one area that you can't really break loose and move up or down. Mainly because it's not attached to anything in this area. The hood fits very well everywhere else. If I could drop the pass side hood hinge down further that would fix it unfortunately it is as low as possible. Maybe 3/32 needed to add to fenders from ends to feather out about 12" towards front.
Is it possible to remove 1/8" of material from the underside of the hood where the hinge attaches...then if needed you could add a thin shim to adjust the hood height exactly...seems like that would be much easier and not noticeable?

doorgunner is right. The problem is not with your fenders, it's the poor fit on your hood. Lower the front edge by removing material under or at the hinge point and the whole thing will drop into place. One other thing I have seen is replacing the top rad seals where it holds the hood up slightly higher until they compress but I doubt that's your problem. You can see in the pic that the hood is high right down past the hinge to the forward edge so that is where I would start and the rest will fall into place.
