Default Windshields

Would the windshield for a c-3 be different from 68 to 72 verses 73 to 82 ?
And is one for a 68 and 77 one off respectively?
Thanks in advance!😎

They changed during the 68 to 82 run,

I believe its 68 to 72 then 73 to 77 then 78 to 82

Default Agree, and suggestion

Agree, I think the 68 72 is different from 73+

suggest you check a Corvette parts vendor catalog to be sure.

Just in case anyone is wondering why I asked !

Before I could get mine tucked safely away in side my warehouse the cat that is right next to me made sure that he cracked mine for me !

Won't go into that but I found one on Craigslist in Tampa for $50. And it's listed 68 to 72 and was thinking maybe he wasn't sure what he had because a 68 is a lot of one off stuff! He said it was a good driver in case some is looking for one!

Then there's another I found listed 77 to 82 NIB for $350. And again with 77 being a lot of one off I thought that I needed some more education!

The $50. Was easily doable but the other is way down on my list of needs for mine at that price! Can't drive it yet so I don't need to replace it just yet!

Thanks for all the info!

Buy a new windshield! Why buy a used scratched one? A new windshield is cheaper than buying one door glass on our C-3's! Buy the USA made one. Lou.

The new one I bought and installed on my 77 was a PPG variant. It was made in Mexico $150 picked up in Tampa, fit well, but MUCH thinner. I found it on ebay.

I had mine replaced about a year ago on my 68 convert. Hagerty insurance paid the installer about $160 for a PPG windshield.
