Default My 82 vet makeover progress

Over the past year-and-a-half I took the 350 out and put a 496 big block in that I built
also redid the interior. So far I have put about 40 miles on the new motor so far.

i'd be lying if I told you, I have no idea what it makes. it's a high rpm 496. it has a straub custom ground cam that makes peak hp at @ 7000rpm. i'm still taking it easy putting some miles on it. the trans is a built th400 with a 10in 3500 convertor. eventually I plan on spraying 200hp on the 1st stage and 200hp on the 2nd stage. motor is built to take it. it has a NOS fogger kit and a NOS big shot plate kit on it. right now the rear is all from my 72 vette. iron diff with 3.70s.
I have to take a break and save some money to do a 4 link backhalf and narrowed rear end and full chrome moly cage maybe next year.
