Gadzooks!

This one looks fake, since there are no wheels showing and I think that Vette would be doing a wheelie if that thing was hanging on the back, but I do remember a couple who pulled a tiny little camping trailer behind a C3 to one of the cruise ins that we attended in Bowling Green. They were from Montana or somewhere out west. I had a suspicion that they may be *transient types though. They showed up but did not register for the event.

* Not that there is anything wrong with that.

With the stance of the car looks like the trailer part doesnt have wheels and just sits on vette rear hitch type idea, like when people haul those power chairs

Yes it does appear that way, but man that would put a lot of weight on the very rear of the car. But maybe it is possible.

When we were in the Air Force a buddy of mine used to tow a ski boat behind his 1982 Vette. We had to almost completely submerge the rear tires to launch the boat. We were young, dumb and full of you-know-what and didn't care. We just wanted to have fun and get layed. It worked many times.......
That looks like an old photo that was scanned. Nice '73 BTW.

In northern Ohio I used to see a guy that had a small jet-boat towed behind his C3. They were both done up in very groovy matching metal flake paint too.

I don't think so. Just an optical illusion. The thin strip of white between the bottom of the car and the shadow is not daylight from the other side. It is the silver trim piece that is in the same position as sidepipes on some vettes of that vintage....but I had to look twice and I could be wrong.

Am I seeing things or is that a convertible with a vinyl hard top?
I wonder how fast the camper was going when it rear ended the Vette?
