Default Wiring electrical radiator fans

1976 corvette L48 automatic.
What is the best location to wire in twin radiator fans ? I have already installed the relays under the hood on the firewall

Run a 10ga wire from the output stud on the alternator directly to the switch of the relay. Other side of that switch to the fan. On the control side, feed it from the IGN terminal on the fuse block and the ground side to the control sensor/switch.

I know I would protect the wire coming off the back of the alternator with a fuse.

The fuse in the fuse panel that is supplying power to the IGN terminal is only protecting the power going to the coil of the relay and not the fan.

One of those things that I forget, but if I'm the one doing it, it sort of happens naturally.

I used a buss bar on the drivers side inner fender. I made one fan run on a temperature switch located by the thermostat and the other run by a toggle switch under the dash. Most of the time, I don't need both fans running.

The next thing I would have to keep an eye on ( if not replace) is if the added amp load of added components being used causes the alternator not to be high enough in amp output.
