Default 76 power problem (No power situation)

I am tracking down a power problem...
My battery got hooked up wrong, and I lost power to everything...

This seems to be really whipping my butt... I am overlooking SOMETHING simple.

Here is what I have done so far.
Battery is good @ 12.7
I have verified the battery terminals are now correct.
I have 12V at the starter
I have continuity from the battery negative to the frame
Replaced both Fusible links at the starter (just to be sure)
Followed the 2 wires up
Using a "sniffer" I have verified that the fusible links into the firewall are good (One behind that distributor, and one under the brake booster)

I have power going into the fuse box area (drivers side under the dash).
Verified 20A circuit breaker in fuse panel has continuity.

Turning the key does nothing, have no lights.

In searching, I think I should have power to the alternator, but my wiring diagram does not look like it. Should I have power to the alternator.. if so, from where?

I have attached the diagram...

There has GOT to be something that I am missing...

If its the ignition switch that's shot, what power should I have with it being off?

Thanks for your help !!!
