What would be the correct position for the dated edge of a Left (driver) mirror on a 1970? Top of the wide or narrow part of the chrome head?
I have added 2 pictures, one of a 9/72 and a 10/73 mirror. The 1972 has the mirror date facing up on the wider part of the chrome head; the '73 is the opposite. Only thing I will add is that the '73 is so nice that it may be re-chromed and the mirror was glued on wrong, but I'm not sure.
