Does any one have the back in the day hard-shell drop in carpet protectors? They were a precursor to the Weather Tech products of today.

From what I read I guess it was design flaws that made them one year only, as far as value goes I honestly have no idea. Maybe if you and I keep bumping this to the top someone who knows more may see this. Anyway if a value can be determined I might be interested in dark brown.

The 77 only floor mats came in 4 colors. I was told that GM shipped the floor mats rolled up in boxes. This caused the woven material to come loose from the backing material. Hence the problem. I recently bought 2 pairs of NOS charcoal-oyster colored mats from a guy that bought them back in the day and stored them flat.

I was wondering, might you know how I can order those original mats for my 1977 Corvette. I am the original owner of a buckskin 1977 Corvette with dark brown leather interior. I have the same mats, but they are starting to come apart. Please advise. Thank you. Bob
