My son has an '02 Z06 and although it's now 15 years old, it's still an incredible car. it's a race car, corners like it's on rails, accelerates so hard, it makes me light headed, but it's also a luxurious and dependable daily driver, is watertight, gets decent gas mileage, and still damn good looking. It'll eat up the miles in comfort, and a good choice for a cross country trip. However, that being said, I prefer my '72. It's loud, not that comfortable, not that fast, tends to wander a bit on the freeway, not dependable enough for an interstate trip, and the last car I would want to be in during a rainstorm. Needless to say, not a daily driver by any means. But I love it, it get the looks, makes me feel like Batman, starts a conversation at every fillup, and there's nothing I can't fix on it. More power to ya, brother...
