What did the yellow 71 LS5 with the PO2's go for ? Looks pretty nice

It didn’t sell. If I remember right it didn’t crack 20k. I did not look at that one very closely. The only pic I took was as it rolled up on the block.

Stopped at the auction Saturday. It's 15 minutes from my house. Had the chance to talk with one of the guy's who drives the cars on stage.

He told me he belongs to a local car club in town. There club has been volunteering for years, when ever Mecum is in town. Told him I thought it would pretty interesting doing that! He said to look him up latter in the day,and we could talk more. Never did get that chance..

I caught the last 30 minutes of Mecum last night just as a beautiful red 71 coupe with side pipes and great wheels was rolling off stage. I think it sold for $14K. Great eye candy but didn't know anything about the car.
