Could someone take a picture of where the light is located on the driver side near the kick panel? Mine is 1980 but I'm sure it's similar from at least 78 to 82. Thanks!

There is an indentation molded into the backside of the fastest that looks kind of like a cross or a t that the light clips into. These pics suck but should get you looking in the right place. Really a shame that with the photobucket debacle the forum has losses access to so many super photos. Good luck and if this doesn't really help, hit me back and I will try to find so.ething else.

Unlike the passenger side that clips in vertically to the kick panel the driver side courtesy light clips in horizontally to the dash pad near (to the left of) the headlamp override switch. The slot (it runs side-to-side as opposed to front-to-rear) is extremely difficult to see and even more difficult to photograph.
