Default 1981 Corvette Brakes

Does the 1981 Corvette have disk brakes or drum Brakes? And what would the average cost be for brake repair? Thanks

a 1981 has 4 wheel disc brakes and nobody can give you an accurate figure without knowing exactly what has to be repaired.

4 wheel disc brakes

What makes you think you need brake repair? Squeaking? Soft pedal?

There is no 'average cost' on the brake system. The cost reflects on what needs to be replaced and the labor to do so.

So until it is know for a fact on what is wrong...guessing on how much would be a waste of time.

Starting with almost all '65s every Vette built has 4-wheel disc.

Most of your costs, will not be from calipers, rotors, pads or lines. But rather the 55 gallon drums of DOT-3.
