Protection for t-tops and chrome handles
Hey Guys,
I want to put some sort of protection on the t-tops and chrome handles sine they hare handled regularly.
I am think I can buy a few cheap screen protectors for phones and put them on the chrome handles to prevent scratching. But for the t-tops, I am not sure what to do.
i have contacted a few vendors but apparently they don't make pieces for the tops. Anyone done this on their car? What did you use? Links to products would be helpful.
Thanks.

I had the front of my Sierra clear wrapped 7 years ago and it's held up awesome. I am planning on getting the front end of my '78 Vette done too. It really prevents chips and scratches. Most tint shops or sign shops can do it for you.

I asked again saying they are a competitor and I wanted to know why they think I should buy their product over xpel. They said we don't know anything about xpel. hahah
Make an effort. Say that you are cheaper at least; something. They completely gave up.

i have no experience with wrap, just provided that link as an example. I know people who have had there complete cars done by an installer who did it in the car owners garage and it appeared to be a solution for your tops.

you will find much more usage of wraps by posting your question on the newer Corvette forums such as C7.

I have actually done a fair bit of vinyl work but it has all been colored. This entire bike was wrap and was done years ago. The newer wraps are even more impressive.
I have seen/heard good things about the clear wraps and think it would be a great way to provide the protection you are looking for. The best thing about it is that if you do not like it, it can be removed fairly easily.
If you check out this video they show it being done and the results
