1975 Corvette Door handles

Hey Guys having some issues getting my doors open, my grandpa took the door apart and cannot figure out how to assemble the door handle assembly. Does anyone have any ideas how to put it back together? Thanks

Perhaps this will help!
If he's going to be working on your car you might consider buying an Assembly Instruction Manual for him.
He'll probably really appreciate having it to refer to.

Thanks Alan, I’m actually the one working on it he took it apart, I’m just trying to fix it so the door will open from the outside.

They have a way of coming apart a WHOLE lot easier than they go back together!

Is Your problem only with one side ? If so, just take the panel off the opposite side and match-up.
I always love the "help", of Buy a Manual.

No they are both not opening, both door panels are off. The drivers door will open from the inside and now the passenger door will not open from the outside. On the passenger side door in order to open from the outside you have to shove a screwdriver down threw the door handle hole in order to open it. I’m just trying to fix at least one side so you can open one door from the outside.
