I like the whole front end treatment, stayed close to original design/concept, but cleaned it up. I don't much care for the color though. If the lights are actually functional (vs just looking cool), then that would be a good option

Someone posted a youtube video last week of the making of the car.

I thought the same thing.
I think that a set of headlight doors that drop down at the back to reveal some short headlights like this would be pretty awesome. They'd look original when closed, but modern and cool when open.

For me there is a lot to like about this car. The color has presented better in other photos that i have seen.
I like the car because it is a beast set up to race, but it also shows really well. Don't know if you have seen other coverage of the car, but it has a lot of unique features. Like a trunk. :-)

I agree the trunk mod was pretty cool. I wish I had taken a few pictures of it.
I seem to remember him saying he got a 16 or 20 gallon tank down under the trunk with a cool little access panel to get to it.
I like it....a lot! It's a high dollar high end build that's very current but IMCO not as far over the top as some of the others that has been posted lately. This one seems to have the bite to match it's bark.
Interesting build, not fond of the color, Like the hood.
I saw a drop down panel in the 80's on a C3 for the headlights, it was cool, I kind of remember he used the Ecklers Kit for the headlights and a small actuator to raise / lower the panels which were hinged in the front.
The electric actuator (s) was a small version of the ones used to raise / lower the hood on show cars.
1. Sick and bilious color...many retching yuchs!
2. Why would you take the 'big brother' car, the C-3 corvette and make it look like an Opel GT...same slits in the nose...EXACTLY.
3. I used to be the Pres of the Opel GT club and I DON'T LIKE IT ONE BIT.
4. SEMA= where teen-age masturbation meets sheet metal (fiberglas).
OOOF! TERRIBLE!
okay I'm warming up a bit...I do like the carbon fiber bumper....where can I get one!

Reason: relenting!
I would like to learn more about the front bumper cover as that is the second one I've seen like that and love it. Do they just take a Lambo style kit bumper cover and graft it on??
