I have all my cars always insured with them and am very happy with the service and the rates. Always worth comparing. They also accepted my newer cars, 2001 and 2003 , now under that insurance at very reasonable rates. They, like Grundy, specialize in older cars and know that people usually take care of them. Hope that helps.

collector insurance is way cheaper than Geico, Allstate etc. I paid about 300 a year for 10k value 75 vette with liability and full coverage. American collectors insurance in cherry hill NJ is another one to consider. but then I used to fix their copiers, so as soon as I had a collectable I called them... just remember, it is reduced mileage insurance and they wanna see pics of the car in the garage it gets locked up in.

Hagerty has good prices and a pretty good reputation-
However- if you car is modified- flares-rollbar -hipo engine they really jack their rates.
I'd be interesting to know the break down in years for the 45 quotes a day.

I am covered through Hagerty and don't recall anything in the process that determined mods or affected rates. It was based on the car, drivers, annual mileage and use. I took the lead from a brother who has his classic/restomod covered through Hagerty and on the one claim he has had, they handled it wonderfully.

I noticed they now have this type of policy- I might have to check back with them when I finally get my 71 back on the road!!!
