Help ID part

Wondering if someone could help my identify this part. It is from a 1971 (I think). Part number on part is 20168722. I will try to post a picture also.

I'm pretty sure it's not a part from a 71 car…. but I don't know what it is.

Thanks Alan and vette8121, it was in a box of the last of the 71 parts I was going to try to sell and didn't really know. Did a search and couldn't find anything with that part number. Thank you for letting me know.

It doesn't look like anything that I've ever seen on a 53-82 Corvette. Chevrolet didn't go to 8 digit part numbers until around 1980, and generally they started with 10xxxxxx. I can't find any listing for a GM part with that number.
